Dear Consumer: Welcome to the Lake Whitney Water Treatment Plant website. This site will provide you with up-to-date information on the Authority's largest, most complex project. Throughout this project, we are committed to providing you with current information on all aspects of this project as well as addressing your concerns. Please take a few minutes to browse the site. Use the icons on the left as your guide. If you want to learn more about the Regional Water Authority, click the RWA Home icon at the bottom of the list. Under Construction Activities, there is a page which describes our property value protection program as well as other protective measures we are taking to avoid impacts during building. Our plans outlining the environmental impacts of rebuilding the plant can be found by going to the Environment icon. You will also find several reports and a list of our environmental study team. The Regional Water Authority is committed to building a state-of-the-art water treatment facility that, through integrated design, reflects the processes of water treatment and the values and aspirations of the neighborhood, protects the quality of the environment, and creates a world class, aesthetically pleasing and educationally relevant place for the community.
